Eyal Berkovic

Berkovic commenced his career at Maccabi Haifa in 1989; he ended up spending seven seasons at the club before moving to Southampton. In total he made 28 appearances for the English club and then transferred to West ham for £1.75 million, in total he appeared for the Hammers in 65 matches scoring 10 goals. He then went on to spend two seasons at Scottish club, Celtic, where he scored a number of crucial goals for the major Scottish outfit. After leaving Celtic he went on to play for his third English club, Blackburn, where he only made a handful of appearances. Berkovic moved to Manchester playing for Manchester City just before the 2001-02 season. He soon became a favourite with the supporters and went on to play 56 times for City. He moved to Portsmouth for the start of the 2004-05 season, appearing 25 times for the club. He moved back to Israel for the start of the 2005-06 season, where he became a regular in the squad before announcing his retirement from playing professional football.
He is one of Israel’s most capped ever players, making 82 appearances for his country and scoring 14 goals.


Alon Harazi

Harazi is one of Israel’s most successful football players of all time. In total he has won the Israeli league title on seven occasions. Six of them being as a Maccabi Haifa, the other championship was with Beitar Jerusalem. Harazi can play in any position of the field; however over the years he has proved to be a great defender. No other player in the history of Maccabi Haifa football has appeared for the club as much as Harazi has, in total, Harazi has played over 400 matches with Maccabi Haifa.
